Wild Flower

My friends car got towed when she came to pick me up because she needed to come inside for a few minutes. Living here has been alright. Not the best and not the worst. It's the out of nowhere things that happen that really bother me. I understand our guests need parking passes and it's up to us to replace them. So when I tried that they said they were out of them... So of course now our guests have to park at their own risk or on the street which is over crowed anyway because the home owners across the street don't park behind their homes. Anyway I had friends over recently and nothing happened to their car while it was parked here for a few hours at their own risk. So fast forward to not even a 3 days later to my friend who was picking me up who wasn't even parked in the parking lot for not even an hour. Their car was towed before 5 am and no, of course you have to pay that $145 to get it back even though they weren't here all that long. So that was real fun when we went to go leave. Oh did I mention that it's crap they only tow really early in the morning? And they are sneaky about it. We where even awake and no car alarm went off or anything... So you can't catch them and stop them. Uh some people have those kind of work hours and need rides. Oh and before I forget, it was a whole new tow company monitoring the complex that we were never even notified of. Yeah they had put up a new sign in the complex on how to contact this tow company but I had no idea until the old tow company told me that. Yes I should have seen the sign but I also should have been notified of something as important as who tows the cars away just in case... Or even just notified of the new sign. Because oh look here was the just in case moment. I don't like not being notified of changes and also don't like getting screwed for taking responsibility going to replace my lost guest passes but can't because there are no more and then my friend suffering the consequences in the blink of an eye. Are you supposed to walk to the street when we people are here to pick you up? Because god forbid they need to use your restroom real quick and it's dark outside and they don't want to park on the over crowded street for a few minutes where people speed through at 45 in the dark and can't see you... Thats really safe. I shouldn't have to waste time slapping a guest pass in a car for 10 minutes when I'm trying to leave and then have to remember to grab it back. Now we're out $145 because we werent able to get a guess pass to avoid a problem like this to begin with! It wasn't even an hour. My friend has picked me up numerous times before without this happening. I feel like that $145 should be deducted from my next rent because that's crap. Where's the responsibility of notifying your residence of a big change. Where is the responsibility of making sure there are replacement guest passes available...???
