No they aren't busy at 8:30 am. But there are 7 people waiting in one line. We shop early to avoid the crowds but it takes just as long, because you have to wait to check out. Employees avoid looking at you. Maybe they are afraid you are going to ask for help. I learned a long time ago employees don't stay long, so you can't ask for help
