Dr. Ayoub probably saved my life! NOT an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! I went into his office for what I thought was a ruptured Ovarian Cyst on my right ovary. I saw his nurse practitioner Cindy, I know her well, as she's the one who usually treats me. After her exam I was in so much pain that she advised I go to the ER...to rule out appendicitis and ovarian torsion. The ER said I had neither. But the pain continued. After MANY days of going to Primary care and back to ER and then being referred back to Dr. Ayoub, he said let's do a laparoscopic surgery, and I'll remove any cysts and scare tissue I find, plus I'll have a general surgeon on standby to remove your appendix. 11 days after the initial pain began I had surgery. They did remove what looked to be a healthy appendix, thanks to Dr. Ayoub's insistance. AND THANK GOODNESS, because it turns out that my appendix had a cancerous tumor, that didn't show up on any test that they took in the ER. I am now under the care of a great Oncologist, and I will forever be thankful to Dr. Ayoub.
