About 2years ago we experienced a problem with our family car, the assumed problem with the engine was going to cost 3k. We spent 2days calling all over martinsville, rocky mount and Roanoke to get other estimates on cost and how long the job would take- as it was our only vehicle. Honestly we skipped over calling Transmission America on day one thinking that they couldn’t help much with engine work. I called and Eric gave me the quote like everyone else, except he was about $500 cheaper and 2 days quicker. He also asked me to describe the problem and over the phone he was able to conclude that the issue might not be what we thought. We drove and continue to drive over 1 hour to get our vehicles checked and serviced with them. Turned out the $2,500 original job was only a $500 repair that no one else caught!
