Ironically, so called "America's most convenient bank" has been the most inconvenient. Some 80% of the time the ATM works for everything except cash deposits. Yet for my account I'm expected to maintain $100. I was told conflicting information as far as avoiding fees, but at the end of the day, the bank was the closest to home but I would not sign up under the terms I did had I known of their inconvenience. I wouldnt sign up with where I can't make cash deposits whenever I want.
The manager was apparently never available and it took way too many days to finally get a call back. She was unable to refund 2 fees of $15 (due to false info and inconvenience as explained). When she finally called back I said I would close the account if I was being charged for inconvenices. She claimed I was at fault and no refunds were given.
My experience with other locations were fine, I went out of my way to walk or ride 2 miles to the next branch location at times the Ballston ATM didn't work.
It's just that I got false info and they for some reason can't maintain their ATM machines, and I literally have to pay for their inconvenience. If you're using the location and consider this one because of its convenient location to Ballston Metrostation and, maybe you should think twice and/or double check any info given to you about fees and maintenance pertaining to specific accounts. That is experience with "America's most convenient bank"...
