Tazza Kitchen Scott's Addition

When I came here I wanted some comfort food, so naturally I ordered a (traditional, not frozen) daiquiri and the cheeseburger. I was expecting both to be okay but nothing special. The daiquiri was great and the burger was the best burger that I have personally ever had. Perfectly balanced between the broiled goodness of the patty and the fresh, light toppings. You really have to taste it to believe it. It was nothing fancy but they really nail the details.

Date night could have gone better. We arrived without a reservation and were seated in under 5 minutes on a Friday night. Waiter took our drink and appetizer order and brought them out in a reasonable time. The meatball appetizer was delicious and their cocktails strong. We then ordered our main course, the scallops with risotto and shrimp with polenta and had to wait 45 min which almost ruined the whole night! Luckily the food was good and our waiter comped us a free piece of brown sugar pie which was sinful. While waiting we noticed other diners ordered pizza and it was served much quicker than ours. Hopefully the wait on food is not a normal occurrence because the staff is very friendly and the food was great.
