Target Optical

I scheduled an appointment online for my son and one for me for different days, based on open appointments. We showed up to my appointment and they had no record of it or of his. This was a waste of time. I was then asked to produce papers to prove I actually booked. It was embarrassing to explain to the twenty-something that I booked online and wasn’t fibbing. To avoid confrontation, I rescheduled and came in at my designated time. I was told that the opthamologist would be right out to get me once I arrived. When she came out she told her staff she was going to go ahead and see “Michael” first because it was a quick check up. I was told I’d have to wait until his appointment was finished, even though he was a walk in. I had no time to wait. I had things to do and honestly was annoyed that they bumped me after losing my initial appointment. They have a young staff there who are nice enough but not versed in customer service. The assistant to the ophthalmologist was a bit abrasive in how she communicated with the staff as well. It was uncomfortable and overall both experienced unprofessional.
