We recently moved to C'ville just last year and had to go through the process of finding a decent auto repair shop somewhere close. It isn't easy finding one that is reliable and won't give you bs. At first, we were good with this place (I liked the close location) and their oil changes were decent. Everything else about it is slow as hell. There are no appts, which sounds great except how can an auto repair shop seriously work on certain things with no appointments? I had to walk in a couple of times asking if it was a good day to actually get work done in a decent time. Once I went in for tires and ended up waiting in the room for 45min just to get assistance on buying new tires... they didn't even have my keys yet. The guy obviously forgot about me and apologized with a discount, but I still was not happy. I shouldn't have to get up and annoy them to get service because they are busy. Anyway, the last time my bf went in they said he needed new brakes/ rotors or he wouldn't pass inspection (not cheap). He went somewhere else in Waynesboro (which is a bit far for me) and they said his brakes were perfectly fine. Yes, a little worn but nothing that needed replacing for a while. Pretty disappointed. I grew up watching my grandfather own and run an honest garage, which is so hard to find now. Currently trying other garages in the area for car repairs and inspections.
