This shelter is a "no-kill" shelter which means they have to turn animals away to avoid euthanizing them. The consequences for the animals are much worse than being euthanized. There is no disputing the fact that there are more animals, especially cats, than there are GOOD homes for or even shelters in which to temporarily contain them.
