McLean Immediate Care - Urgent Care

2018-Jan-08, Monday evening, arrived 15 minutes before closing time. Friendly greeting. Had been a patient here previously, so paperwork was easily generated. Nurse conducted initial interview, took vitals (BP, Pulse, Temp), very efficient. Dr. Haden saw me next. Took thorough history of current and recent illness and treatment, conducted physical exam. Took the time to discuss likely diagnosis and why recent meds had been ineffective. Provided realistic prognosis and timeline, plus possible additional advanced testing needed if illness did not respond to new meds on a timely basis. Professional, friendly, courteous, excellent communicator. Departed with prescriptions, instructions and recap of exam. $98 exam and diagnosis seems very reasonable. Convenient hours and location. I’ve been coming here for nine years, whenever my Primary Care Physician is unavailable. My wife has been coming here for nearly 30 years. Quality care. Spotless facility. Reasonably priced for good value. Highly recommended!
