Overall, I did not like, would not recommend their office and know for certain I will be seeking care elsewhere for future oral surgery. All I'm saying is if you're having oral surgery in NN, and you feel like getting mixed messages about your insurance, poor customer service, & being spoken down is what you were looking for, then please visit Dr. John Liest in NN. He did great work on my daughter's wisdom teeth (meaning no complications). But man, his office staff sucks- and they are really unapologetic about it too. When I spoke to Dr. Leist about the staff giving me bad information because - I thought surely he would like to know that that was happening- he simply said "insurance is hard and they change a lot." Which I interrupted as: they told you bad information, but I don't care to make sure they are more informed in the future. So beware. I got as many straight answers about payment form these people as I get from my mechanic. They did not tell me about the "predetermination" that they could have done to access the final cost to me, and when I asked the head office manager why this wasn't offered to me, the person said they did offer it. But they couldn't even find my original appointment and had no idea who had made it or what she told me. They keep no notes on their conversations, but are 100% that what I heard was wrong and that they gave all the correct information. They are sure about everything they do and don't do, and are also sure everything you say to that contrary is 100% false. So, if you like being told your wrong about every. single. aspect of a conversation that you actually did take notes on!, you might have enjoy their office. I did not!
