Lake Arrowhead Recreation Park

The lake is always a great place to go with the kids. The scenery is beautiful, the fishing accessibility is fair. The trails are usually decently maintained. If you like beach type swimming it has that also. The shelters and restroom facilities are usually fairly clean and in good repair. Plenty of parking, great place to take your dog. Playground available basketball court and softball field.

This was a great place to go for an afternoon with friends. While you pay to use the beach to swim, it's only a couple dollars. You can also rent canoes and kayaks to explore the lake. Not only is there water fun, but shelters are available to reserve for gatherings. Walking trails around the lake allow you to explore a little bit of the forest and wildlife. You can even go fishing. The park was clean, had plenty of parking, and easy to access. Plus, you can't beat the scenic ride in!
