Hot Spot

I hate this place. I never want to come here but my wife wants to go every once in awhile. Today we probably got the worst waiter ever, his name is Allen. I had to track him down several times just to get things like a new pair of chopsticks, drinks, the menu and even refills. The only time he was prompt was when we asked for the bill. Otherwise he was a ghost. We had an infant with us, and he stupidly put a drink right in front of him. The baby did what babies do and grabbed it almost immediately. Fortunately I caught it in time before a disaster happened. Then it was a battle for my wife and I to get up from our seat and flag him. I once tried to switch waiters and started asking another one. Then he tried to assert himself and I realized we are stuck with his incompetence. I left pretty unhappy and with what you pay it totally is not worth it. I'm sure tonight I'll have diarrhea like I always do after eating here. How I wish my wife didn't crave hot pot every once in awhile. Anyway, that was our night. Poor service and ok food. We will probably go back, but I hope we don't. Additionally, for buffet style food I don't need a need for this "18% tipping, 20% tipping, 25% tipping suggestion. It's expensive, so they don't care if they serve you well or not because they know they will get it. You only need to show average service to get your tip, make an effort people >_

Excellent broths and all you can eat of a lot of great meat and vegetables. The sauce bar has plenty of options. The atmosphere is nice, if loud. Highly recommended if you're in the mood for AYCE hot pot.
