From start to finish, our project was a 2-year nightmare. Federal was consistently unresponsive and failed to meet every promised deadline. Once they had our deposit, they became completely unreliable. We have never worked so hard attempting to get a contractor to complete the work promised.
Worse than the responsiveness, however, was the complete lack of competent management oversight. Federal assigned no one to manage or oversee the project. After repeated requests, they were not able to produce any reasonable plan. This resulted in them doing things in the wrong order or doing them incorrectly. Because of this, they had to undo and redo many major elements and some couldn't be fixed.
