Dr. Winfield and Victoria are excellent providers, if youre are actually there for PAIN MANAGEMENT. If you're looking for a pity party and just want to take opiods and benzo's for the rest of your life, then yeah, you found the wrong doctor. My PCP told me Virginia is in an opioid crisis, and all the doctors have been instructed to crack down on these kinds of things or lose their license. Basically, if you want to try innovative procedures and injections that MAY give you a chance at a normal life or some period of time without pain, then I recommend. If you just want pain meds, and to become the next junkie then find a different provider. He was very upfront with me and told me he would fill my meds and wean my meds month by month. Only way he would keep me on long term pain meds, was if I tried the procedures and they failed. Luckily, for me they worked. I have a career, and i had no intention on quitting work and become a chronic pain patient living off the system. I'm better than that. I am in a better place thanks to him and his staff, but i've seen some of the people who come into that office and a lot of em are obese, people who didn't take care of themselves when they were younger, and now they wan't to be addicted to pain meds to cope with life. That might of worked 10-30 years ago, but not in today's society. Sorry they found the wrong provider for that. There are OTHER pain management specialist who have no problem giving you all the pain meds you want and who will be drug testing you every 3 months, but he isn't one of em. And those other places arent taking new pt cause theyre FULL TO THE BRIM, with other narcotic seekers, which goes back to the point of Virginia being in an drug crisis. A heroin lab bust is on the news every week. See Dr.Winfield for help, but go elsewhere if you just want to take long term opioids forever without trying to better yourself. Based on these reviews, a lot of people found that out the hard way.
