Dixie Sheet Metalworks Inc

I took a bed frame to them based on the reviews. I was quoted an estimate of $100-125 and was told it was a pretty simple job. Three weeks later, after several calls from me, I was told it was ready - and the cost was over 3 times what I was quoted!! They never called to tell me anything before just assuming it was fine to pay 3 times what I was told! When I picked it up and asked to speak to a Manager, I was told they were all gone but the woman said she would talk to them and call me back by Monday afternoon (yesterday). Needless to say, they never called. To top it all off, they made the support cross pieces too short and they still won't fit the frame!!! So, now I must either get them cut again or find another way to make them work. In the meantime, my daughter is sleeping with her mattress on the floor. Based on my experience with what should have been a simple, inexpensive job, I would NEVER recommend Dixie Sheet Metalworks!
