The owner bakes because she loves it, and purposely keeps a low business profile to maintain a small customer base with personal connections. She called out the names of each customer that walked in after us and knew each one. And the FOOD. Sweet rolls were the best of my life, with whiskey tinted orange zest icing. Biscuits just folded that morning, dense and buttery, with eggs and bacon and homemade heirloom tomato curry ketchup. And every single ingredient is sourced from local farms she drives to pick ingredients up from each week. This is the real deal, folks.
