CHKD Health Center and Urgent Care at Landstown

Absolutely rude and ridiculous when trying to set up our new born child's first appointment. Receptionist that answered the phone had seemed like it was a problem that I called in the first place, she then proceeded to tell me that a chkd located 30 minutes from my house may be a better option. I reported her then called the town center location and had an appointment within minutes.

Ok folks, we took our son to the CHKD Health Center (NOT URGENT CARE) at Landstown to track down the best phlebotomist. I called all around town and more than a few people recommended this phlebotomist named Sandra. I started to give her his history and told her we were told he has "non-existent veins" and he's always had to be poked in both arms to try and find the best source. She cocked her eyebrow and asked, "is that what the fools said AFTER they couldn't get it?" hahaha. She was wonderful! My son was punching, screaming, kicking, etc and zip, zip, zip, she had him stuck and drained in no time. He didn't even know the needle was in his arm. I had to give her a big hug and kiss before we left. Thanks Sandra!
