Before I get into my experience with Caliber Collision in Falls Church, I just want to say that I'm one of those people who usually never writes a review, regardless if the experience was exceptionally bad or exceptionally good. I use google reviews more than enough to read about other people's experience at restaurants, stores, etc. but I personally never take the time to write a review. Anyways, on to my absolutely amazing experience with Caliber Collision in Falls Church. Recently, the front bumper on my 10 year old little blue car started coming off. In fact, when I first noticed it, it was after driving from D.C. to Charleston for a small vacation. My fiancé had just backed up from a driveway that was raised quite high, and it essentially caught and pulled the bumper out from under itself. It looked like it was going to fly off at any moment. While we were able to push what we could back in a safely made it back to D.C. a couple of days later, we were quite worried that it would come off one day, so it was a top priority to get it fixed. We actually went to the Caliber Collision in Fairfax first to get an estimate, since we wanted to know just how much this would cost us. And while it was cheaper than what we had mentally prepared for (after reading how much it usually cost to replace a bumper) it was still a pretty penny. I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of paying for some of the work they listed (again, it's a 10 year old car, I don't expect it to look like brand new). Even so, we decided to just bite the bullet and accepted the fact that we would have to pay a few hundred dollars out of pocket for this fix. However, out of sheer laziness, we told them that we'll take the estimates to their site in Falls Church, which is closer to our home. That's when we received an exceptional experience. We had made an appointment to drop the car off in a Friday at 7am. According to the estimate, it would take at least two days to fix the repairs, so we wanted to have it done during the weekend when it would be less problematic to our work schedule. So this morning, we arrived at 7am. The sun wasn't even up yet, but we were greeted by Ryan, who was as awake and chipper as anyone could be that early. We told Ryan that we had these estimates, and that we were just hoping to get it done as soon as possible. It would have been very easy for Ryan to have just said "Okay, great! We'll call you when it's done", but instead he questioned on whether or not we really needed all the work that was listed (especially since we were paying by cash, rather than through our insurance). He actually asked us what we wanted done and what our priorities were and that's when I told him that we just didn't want the bumper to come off and that we're actually saving for a wedding so if there's anywhere we can save money, that would be great. After taking a quick look at the car, he told us that he can save us some money (as an early wedding present) and that it would actually be done by noon the same day. We were honestly quoted surprised by that, and so excited at the prospect of having the car back before the day was done. True to his word, my car was done and ready to be picked up by 12:30 that same day. Not only did he save us a bit of money by realizing that we did not need or really want all the bells and whistles to be fixes, he even buffed what he could, free of charge! Now the car honestly looks the best I have ever seen it and I'm no longer worried about the bumper flying off on 495. It's all thanks to Ryan and the folks at the Caliber Collision (IN FALLS CHURCH). They actually care about what's best for you and your situation and will do what they can to make it work for not only their business, but also their customers. If you ever need some car repairs done, I would tell you to go here! They have definitely won my fiancé and I over and we now know where we'll be going the next time we have some car problems.
