This must be the worst managed store! I have been a very loyal customer of America’s Best for over 15 years (both in Buffalo, NY and this location in Newport News, VA) and never have I been treated with disrespect and insignificance. I had made an appointment 2 months prior and on the Monday before my appointment, I received a voice mail wanting to confirm my appointment on Thursday. I work full time often until late at night and I do not have the capability to answer my phone during the day. It has been an unusually busy week and on Wednesday when I left work after 5pm, I noticed I had another message from America’s Best that from noon. It stated that if I did not call by 2pm my appointment would be cancelled!!!!!!!!!!! WTH?!?! Never have I heard of this “policy” (even the corporate office had never heard of this policy). I HAVE NEVER missed an appointment and had made special work and family arrangements to make this one. The “manager”, Andrea, called me a liar when I stated I was never provided with this “policy” either at the time I made my appointment nor in the voice mail left on Monday. None-the-less, she would not provide me with another appointment until over a month later and blatantly told me to let her know where to send my records when I informed her that if this was the way the treat their customers then maybe I should go elsewhere. Apparently, she was unfamiliar with the concept that people work during the day and are not able to check their message that has a 2 hour window. I have worked in the medical field for over 30 years and am well aware of “no shows” but I have never heard of such a disrespectful way to handle them, especially with someone who DOES NOT have a history of no shows! Obviously, this store does not need customers nor do they know how to show respect and appreciation to a loyal customer who has brought her entire family to their store. Very, very disappointed – worst customer service ever.
