Our daughter has thrived in her 4 years at Ambleside School in Herndon, Virginia. She loves the nurturing academic environment, the wonderful student body and the ability to learn from original source documents. The annual Shakespeare Festival is a high point for the entire school, as is the bi-annual ArtSpring benefit. The principal and teachers and staff create a loving and nurturing environment for the students in which students love to learn! I would encourage anyone interested to take advantage of the opportunity to visit and sit in on a class. It's the best way to get a glimpse of the Charlotte Mason educational philosophy in action.
